Are you into festive eyes? Or you just like to keep things as simple as possible? Well whether you like it simple or glam, one thing that you can’t skip is a mascara which will bring up the lashes into focus. M&S Advent Calendar doesn’t disappoint with that. Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara is the fourth products of the calendar which aims to give volumised, glammed lashes!

Last year’s M&S Advent Calendar brought Eyeko Black Magic Mascara and now this one brings Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara. This year’s one might not be your regular mascara. According to the website, Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara is a two in one product which gives volumised, coloured and curled lash look while helping to repair and regenerate lashes throughout the day. Impressive! Will it talk the talk and walk the walk or it will just talk the talk?

Eyekno Lash Alert Mascara is a fibre enhanced mascara enriched with caffeine, arginine (repair lashes) and biotinoyl tripeptide(natural regeneration) to stimulate lash growth and thicken the lashes.

How’s the formula? I think it is just right, it is not too wet or dry. You can see the tiny fibres which add length and volume to the lashes. It doesn’t smudge easily so you can avoid panda eyes. You need a proper makeup remover to remove it, makeup wipes don’t really remove it properly and leave crispy lashes.

M&S Advent Calendar Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara | Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara Review

Am I impressed? Not really. First of all, even though it defines the lashes, it doesn’t wow me with the volume and secondly, it kind of gets clumpy when I try to apply the second layer. You really have to wait for your lashes to dry and then apply carefully to prevent sticky lashes. If you are in hurry then this might be a nightmare. Also, it might be my lashes that don’t work with this mascara, it might be perfectly fine with yours.

You get 4 ml Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara which is a good size for carrying in your makeup bag and I like the small design! It comes in a squeezable tube package and like Black Magic Mascara, it has a curvaceous helix brush which is perfect for full lash contact.

Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara is £19 for 8 ml. Would I recommend? I wouldn’t really recommend it. If you want to try a mascara from Eyeko, then go for Black Magic Mascara rather than this one. You could find cheaper and better mascaras in the market so no need to spend that much on a product that is not easy to work with.

Have you tried any Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara or any other products from the brand? What’s your favourite mascara you keep repurchasing?
