theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer

Ela·
theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer

Can we blame the Kardashians for the contouring craze or you were actually into contouring before it? To be honest, I wasn't really aware of it until the photos of contouring went viral on the internet. This is how I met with contouring. Can theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer give you that defined cheek bones when you do contouring?

theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer Review

I wanted to try t__heBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer for a while after watching plenty of Lily Pebble's videos. All these YouTube videos and blog world make me want to use all the things I see there and theBalm Bahama Mama was one of them.

TheBalm Bahama Mama is a cool toned brown matte bronzer with greyish undertone, which is a perfect contouring powder and looks really natural on the skin. It is not highly pigmented, so you can easily build it up as intense as you wish. It is really easy to work with and it feels soft and silky on the skin. I don't really like highly pigmented blushes and bronzers, because I find them really hard to work with and if you have heavy hands then the result might not be good. You don't need to worry about it getting patchy and also it won’t get cakey, which is actually really great. This will give you the natural defined cheek bones that you desire. Besides using it as a contouring powder, I also use it as a transition shade on the eyes and it works perfectly. If you like warm toned bronzers, then it might not be a perfect colour for you. However, I believe it would look beautiful on every skin tone.

theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer

Like other theBalm products, theBalm Bahama Mama has a cute illustration on the cardboard packaging. Even though it is light and easy to carry around, I am not a fan of cardboard packaging. I prefer Lou Manizer's solid packaging better. It has a decent size mirror, which comes really handy.

I've been using it a lot since I got it and I'm sure it will be one of the most used bronzers for a while since I am trying to learn how to contour properly with powder.

Are you into contouring? What's your favourite contouring product? Is there any tip you could give for beginners? Have you tried theBalm Bahama Mama bronzer?

I love to contour. I usually use my Kevyn Aucoin powder because it's super cool toned. Sometimes bronzers read a bit warm on my skin (even warmer than they do in the pan) so I have to be careful what I choose. I've heard really great things about this bronzer though! prettyneutral.com

I rarely contour, only if I film/take blog pictures or wear a really full coverage foundation, so i don't own a dedicated contouring product. When I do I use the MAC Harmony powder blush, which seems to be similar by your description. But in the vides I feel like it isn't doing enough, so i am contemplating getting something "stronger". Linda, Libra, Loca: Beauty, Baby and Backpacking

I am not really good at it either, but I am trying to learn how to do it properly. Practice makes perfect so I will keep practicing, you should do the same.

I haven't tried this particular bronzer but I do love to do a little daily contouring. Nothing crazy but a little depth to my cheekbones is always appreciated! I think my biggest tip would just be to blend, blend, blend. www.thesundaymode.blogspot.com.au

I've only tried proper contouring a few times, it is really time consuming because of all these blending like you said.

I love Mary Lou Manizer but haven't tried the bronzer yet. Looks like a great colour for light to medium skin tones. Will have a look at it next time I'm near Debenhams. x Renata | Speaking Beauty UK

Great post, really enjoyed reading about this product as I had never heard of it before. I contour with Anastasia Beverly Hills powder contour kit. It's nothing as advanced as those videos, but I just try to make my cheek bone pop!! Give it a try if you're ever looking for another contour product :) Morgan | www.monde-et-mode.com
