“In Japan, the annual flowering of Sakura has been celebrated for centuries and symbolises the beauty of life. Make each day feel like a new beginning.”. Sakura… Cherry blossoms! Pinkish cherry blossoms make Japan special. Everything looks so dreamy and beautiful when it is covered with millions of blossoms. Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream was inspired by this beautiful flowering of Sakura.
Are you attracted to things that have a story behind it? Well, I am… Also, isn’t “celebrate each day as a new beginning” kinda attractive? Visiting Japan during the flowering of Sakura is one of the things that’s on my bucket list. I’ve always admired that beautiful view. All sounds so good so far, can The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream actually give the new beginning?
I want to start with the scent of it. It just smells so beautiful. At first, it might be a little overwhelming, but once it sinks into the skin then you’re left with a beautiful floral and oriental scent. It is more on the floral side as the sweetness of cherry blossoms is the main focus on scent. When you put on that body cream, you can skip the perfume, it might create a confusion of scents.
The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream has a creamy and rich formula. The consistency is in between heavy and light cream. It is a really lightweight and it doesn’t leave any greasy feeling. Skin absorbs it quickly and you’re left with a baby soft smooth skin. Organic rice milk is used for its nourishing benefits. There’s no parabens and mineral oils.
Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream is £6 for 70 ml and £19.50 for 220 ml. If you are looking for a body cream that will sink in quickly and leave the skin velvety soft then you should check it out. Mini size comes handy for carrying around, you can also use it as a hand cream. Even after washing the hands, skin feels soft and protected. It leaves my dry skin moisturised, but if you have really dry skin then you might need heavier body lotions. Other than that, this body cream can be a good addition to your pampering routine.
