When there are so many lip balms in the market, finding the one that would suit the needs isn’t easy. When you are looking for natural lip balms then the list might be shorter. Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E Peppermint is one of the natural ones you can rely on.
I’ve tried a few Burts Bees lip balms before but I haven’t tried the peppermint one before. Well, I haven’t used any lip balm with peppermint oil in it. Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E Peppermint is the first and I must say I really like the tingly feeling.
It has a really strong peppermint scent and if you have sensitive eyes, it might affect your eyes. That tingling feeling lasts for over 10 minutes. If you have chapped lips, you might want to skip this one. I put it on after peeling some dry flakes and it was the worst mistake ever. It burnt a lot that I had to wipe off the lip balm. Vitamin E is used a lot in skincare products and it is also used in this lip balm. Vitamin E soothes the lips and the lips get softer.
1-2 hours after applying it, my lips started to feel a little bit on the dry side but there wasn’t any flaking. I have the same issue with most of the lip balms. They only protect my lips for an hour or two then I have to reapply it. When my lips need more hydration, I apply heavier lip balm like Nuxe Reve de Miel. It keeps the lips softer longer than this but it is over double the price. Vaseline lip balm can be another heavier alternative to this one.
Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E Peppermint is £3.99 for 4.25 g. It is a good product for the value and it is natural. If you have really dry lips and looking for a product that would give you the softest lips, then it might be a little disappointment for you. It is good for an everyday use and that peppermint scent is so refreshing.
