Skincare routine can be crucial, especially when the weather is on the extreme side. It is important to find the right routine to keep the skin at the perfect stage. Most of the time I stick to the brands I know like The Body Shop, Vaseline, E45, Nivea…Products that are not too expensive and also deliver. Comparing to the other brands, Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion is a little bit on the expensive side, however, as long as it delivers I’m all fine to pay extra.
Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion is originally developed to tackle the appearance of Keratosis Pilaris (rough, dry, bumpy’chicken skin’). It contains hydrating and powerful ingredients to improve the skin condition and give smoother and healthier looking skin. According to the website, Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion will resurface the uppermost layer of the skin and give you the soft and healthy skin you want. It contains Lactic Acid(encourage skin’s natural exfoliation process) and LaH6 Skin Hydration Complex. Combination of those two powerful ingredients might transform your skin.
Does it work? I can only speak from my experience… After using it regularly at least for a week, I can notice the improvement of my skin. My legs feel noticeably smoother and the appearance of the skin improved a lot. I like the silky smooth look and feel it gives. It really helped my skin with the flaky patches. Just be patient and keep applying the lotion… You will see the result eventually.
Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion is a lightweight body lotion and it is absorbed quickly leaving the skin soft from the first use. It doesn’t leave any greasy feeling but gives a little shine to the skin. It has a traditional cream smell which doesn’t linger long… Do you know what I mean with that traditional smell? It just smells similar to Nivea creams, unscented but has its distinctive smell.
How should you use it? Recommended use is twice daily for 4 weeks and then apply once daily to maintain the skin’s condition. As with other AHA products, Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion may make the skin more sensitive to the sun so you should use a high sun protection.
Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion is £22.50 for 200 ml. It is reasonably priced. If you have Keratosis Pilaris, you should consider giving it a try. I read a lot from people with KP and how it helped to improve their skin conditions. Although it is dor treating KP, you can just use it to achieve the smoothest skin. It is a good body lotion and it delivers like the heavy-duty products.
