What do you think a healthy glow/shine is? When you think about the glow, is it only your skin or all your body from head to toe? My answer would be from head to toe. You can’t just focus on one part and then leave the rest, right? Hair should also be important. If you’re looking for shine and the bounce then Philip Kingsley Elasticizer can give that.
I kept hearing Philip Kingsley products, however, I haven’t tried any until I got this Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. Did you know that Elasticizer is originally created for Audrey Hepburn almost 40 years ago? I didn’t know about it and also if a product is in a market for that long, it must be good. Right?
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is a pre-shampoo treatment. It has thick cream like consistency and it is fragrance-free. Even though the consistency is thick cream like, it doesn’t leave any greasy feeling. I don’t mind having fragranced hair products as long as it is not overwhelming, but this is a fragrance-free product. At least there won’t be a mixture of scents when you wash your hair.
The good thing is you could see a visible result even after the first try, but of course, for better and long lasting result, it is best to use it regularly. I usually use it once a week when I have a long pamper routine. Once you wet your hair, apply this all over the hair (I avoid the roots) and cover your head with a plastic cap. Due to the thick consistency, you don’t need much product. Recommended time to leave the treatment is 10-20 minutes. Sometimes I ended up leaving 30 minutes, so time shouldn’t be a problem. After that, rinse the hair and carry on with your normal routine. If you’re dealing with dry hair then this mask would turn the dry hair into something healthy.
I have fine and oily hair and most of the pre-shampoo treatment products weigh down my hair. Luckily this one didn’t weigh it down. If you have the same problem, then this might also work for you. Is it revolutionary? I don’t think so, but it delivers the promised so it is a good product.
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is £30 for 150 ml. If you want to try smaller size then 40 ml is sold for £9.50 at Philip Kingsley’s website. It is on the expensive side, but it is a really good product. If your hair is lacking shine, elasticity and volume then I’d highly recommend you trying this.
