Hydration Boost - Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

Ela·
Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado | Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with avocado will give the eye area hydration boost, eye area will be brighter and plump.

When you think about your face, which area do you think is the most sensitive one? It is the eye area, right? You can’t just apply any product to your eye area, there are even some of the products have “avoid eye area” labelled on it. Think about applying strong acidic product, it would stink! Choosing the right eye products is not the easiest, all of them claim so many things. However, which one can you actually rely on? Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is one of them which claim to hydrate…

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment Review

Kiehl’s creamy eye treatment with avocado is all about hydration. If you want a hydration boost around your eyes then this is what you are searching for. As soon as you apply it, you will feel the burst of moisture and with constant use your eye area will look brighter and plump. Just be consistent and you will see the result. Sometimes I apply it on my eyelids too and it doesn’t stink like some other products do. Now I have a question, do you apply eye cream on your eyelids? Some says you shouldn’t and some says the opposite, I am so confused. However, if you don’t apply anything to the lids, how are you planning to prevent the ageing? Does anyone have an answer for this?

How to Apply?

It is a thick eye cream and you only need a tiny amount of it. The first time I used it, I applied more than I should have and ended up having really greasy looking eye area and it took so long to sink in. I think the best time to apply it is at night, so it will sink in properly. If you’re in hurry in the morning and planning to have a quick makeup then this eye cream might cause a mess and make your foundation/concealer melt off and crease, so think wisely before applying it. If you are not in a rush then just apply it and enjoy your breakfast/coffee, basically let it all soak in then your makeup will go so smoothly.

My Tips

I’ve been using it for around 3 months now and it might not be enough, which means I can’t really say anything about anti-ageing benefits yet. It doesn’t claim that anyway, however, we women expect that from the products we use, don’t you think so? Also, I didn’t get it for that purpose anyway. So if you are planning to get it as an anti ageing cream the I should tell you that it won’t give you what you are looking for. However what I think is that keeping the skin well hydrated and moisturised is the key to having younger looking skin and also a key to preventing the fine lines.

It works better when I pat it onto the skin instead of just rubbing it on the eye area. It feels like it sinks in better and also I am not being too harsh to this sensitive area. If you want something gentle and hydrating, this would be the right product for you.

How careful are you with your eye area? What is your must-have eye product that you swear by? Have you tried Kiehl’s creamy eye treatment with avocado?

At the moment I don't actually use anything on my eye area but I used to use a Kiehl's product for dark circles. I found it took a while to have any impact but the results were fantastic once they started to become apparent. This is one of their products I haven't tried but I swear by anything with avocado in so must try. Also totally agree with your patting technique over just rubbing it in x Viva Epernay | £100 Asos Voucher Giveaway! | Vote For Me - Beauty Blogging Awards

Personally I think eye creams are more for preventions than cure and hydration is one of the best thing to do for our eye areas. I am careful with application and I pat instead of rub and yes, I do apply it to my eye lids however, I use whatever tiny bit that are left on my fingers after applying my under eye areas. This sounds like a beautiful product, the fact that it contains avocado has sold it to me instantly. I don't know why, I can just imagine it to be very refreshing around the eye area. I am yet to own a nighttime eye cream. Although I have the Origins GinZing eye cream for the day time and it's really nice. I definitely want to purchase this now, as I'm loving slathering on the skincare products. After filming make-up tutorials, it definitely takes it out of my skin sometimes. So the fact that this is a thick consistency, sounds like just what I need.
