Autumn Colours for Autumn Makeup
If you have to choose one colour for your autumn makeup, which autumn colour would you choose? There are so many autumn colours from Aura red to spicy mustard, so the options are limitless. 2016 Autumn colours are all about unity of strength, confidence and complexity, so it is time to show the confidence!
I prefer neutral colours for my makeup, however, I try to add as much as colour possible to brighten up a gloomy day. Whenever I wear dark/bright lips, I pretty much keep the rest of the makeup simple. I know it is boring, so now I try to infuse more autumn colours to my autumn makeup. Having bold eyes and bold lips might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is worth giving a try.I like is mixing cranberry, burgundy and black tones to create that dramatic autumn makeup. Would you consider wearing a similar eye makeup?
My latest eye makeup duo is Metallic Pomegranate (a burgundy/cranberry mixture with tiny flecks of golden shimmer) and Stereo which is described as "Blackened burgundy with copper and pink violet duo chrome glitter sprinkled on top in a Metallic finish". If you complain about your eye makeup not lasting, then you should consider giving this duo a try!
Combining metallic eye makeup with metallic lips might not be the best decision, but makeup is supposed to be fun so why not... Kween is a burnt red with gold glitter in a metallic finish. I never thought I would give metallic lips a try, now I actually like it... This eye makeup and lip combo would be great for a night out or even you can create that Gothic Halloween makeup, not every Halloween makeup has to be scary!
I am still not sure about spicy mustard, though, would you incorporate that colour to your makeup? How is your dramatic autumn makeup? What do you think about combining metallic eye makeup with metallic lips?

Bold eyes and bold lips isn't usually my thing but lately I've been wearing this duo a lot :)
I love metallic eyeshadows, but metallic lips are not my cup of tea. I'm like you and usually keep the rest of my makeup pretty simple whenever I wear a bold lipstick. However sometimes I like pairing a berry lip with a bronze smokey eye. http://carolinapage.eu
I am not really into metallic lips, I just have that one from Colourpop and I actually like it, however, it is not something I'd wear all the time.

I'm loving the camo-green and rose gold shades (not together) The Lorac Pro 3 palette has been my go-to because the colours are so warm toned that they really complement autumn. Definitely going for a nude lip as well! Don't think I could pull off a metallic lip haha www.lindseyginge.com

Ela, I LOVE the colors that are coming out in these new Fall makeup collections! They are so pretty. I've purchased several new palettes. The rich browns, coppers, bronzes, oranges and golds are spectacular. I love the shades you have here. I'm not sure about mustard though. LOL I'll do gold. I love metallic lip colors. I love the seasonal colours, they are so beautiful and make the gloomy days better! Metallic eyes and lip combo is a little extreme, however, once in a while it is ok to be extreme!

I love spicy mustard, though I don't know if I'd include it in my makeup, simply because I'm not so creative in that department, lol. I'm sure there's a look somewhere floating around on Pinterest that has it on the eyes and looks amazing, but I have yet to discover it and I don't think I'd attempt it, lol! As for the other shades you've mentioned, I'd definitely give them all a try! I've been crushing hard on burgundy this season, even more so than in years past for some reason. Perhaps it's because we're seeing more and more pieces and makeup in the color?! I don't know by I'm completely won over! These look a bit like lipstick shades, I think the mustard one would be good in moderation and I like the shimmer of all 3

I love experimenting with my makeup and trying new things but I am always so careful when it comes to the balance between bold lip & bold eye 🙈 I do love adding a touch of an eyeliner when I wear dark lipstick. Think it just finishes it off really well :) I am not the best with applying eyeshadows, still a lot to learn in that department lol. I loved your suggestions, sweetie!
