Spring and Summer Wishlist
Do you have an ever growing wishlist like I do? When there are many new releases, it is probably normal to want to try all of them, however, what if you’re on a spending ban? Well then your wishlist will be getting way longer than you would expect it to be, this is what’s happening to me! If I win the lottery, I know what I’ll be doing first… getting my spring and summer wishlist shorter!
Spring and Summer Wishlist
Days are getting longer and warmer; using sun protector and products with SPF is one of my main priorities. I wasn’t good to my skin before and I skipped applying sun protection as I wanted instant tan, I wish I hadn’t done that! When I change my skincare routine, I make sure to choose products with SPF so I will make sure that my skin is well protected and they come handy when I’m in a rush and forget to apply sun screen. L’occitane Precious Light Cream is one of these multipurpose products which aim to give smoother and firmer skin and also SPF20 for sun protection. It is a win-win situation!
Even though there are mixed reviews about NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint, it sounds like a perfect base for summer. In summer, I prefer matte bases with SPF protection as my skin gets really oily and this one ticks all the boxes, SPF30 protection is pretty good.
Summer look without glow wouldn’t be complete. I’ve been lusting for Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector and Hourglass Ambient Light Powder Palette like most of the people! Who wouldn’t want their imperfections blurred and also a little bit of glow? If you want these then you should also add these two products to your wishlist!
Are you attracted by the fancy shiny packaging? Well I am and Charlotte Tilbury doesn’t make things easier with her catchy shiny gold packaging. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Lost Cherry is a beautiful bright cherry pink red and it can be perfect spring colour. Spring and summer wishlist without a Charlotte Tilbury product wouldn’t be complete!
I like changing my perfumes depending on the season and my mood. Givenchy Live Irresistible is a new release and the scent description “A floral and fruity cocktail” got me wondering how good it must smell!

My list is never-ending so I know how you feel. I've always wanted to try L'Occitane skincare products, but don't even know where to begin. This cream sounds perfect for summer as I love the added SPF. I considered getting the NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint as a spring/summer base, but eventually got La Roche-Posay Effaclar BB Blur, which was much more affordable, and am very happy with it. CT Lost Cherry is on my wishlist too... I should really buy a lottery ticket soon! ;) http://carolinapage.eu
I tested La Roche BB blur one awhile ago and I really like the finish but I don't really know how long lasting it would be. Ah lottery ticket and winning millions... *day dreaming*
I think the only thing I really want to try right now is the new Urban Decay tinted moisturizer/foundation. But I have many to get through so I won't be buying it anytime soon. Or so I hope! The Matte Revolution lipsticks are amazing. So lightweight and long lasting! I was drawn to Lost Cherry too but it's not a colour I'd wear often, went with Bond Girl instead. I keep lusting for things and it makes my list gets longer, I should start getting the things I actually need! Bond Girl is a beautiful shade, I should try CT lippies on before actually buying them.

Such lovely picks, hun! I'm lusting over those Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks - like yourself, I'm very drawn to lovely packaging and those lippies look just so stunning! Heard some fab things about the formula, also, so I'd definietly like to get my hands on them. :) As for the Live Irresistible perfume... I like it, the bottle is cute, but I'm not crazy about it. A fruity cocktail is a pretty good description, although I find it to be quite watery and more on the fresh/floral side. I LOVE the tropical pineapple note in it, it's super exotic and so juicy... However, the longevity of the fragrance is really bad (about one, two hours?) which is what's stopped me from purchasing a full bottle myself... It is suitable for oily/combination skin, so if you have dry skin, you better stay away from it! x

Ii also use that L'occitane Precious Night Cream on a daily basis, love their products so much.
