If I had to choose one makeup product, lipstick would definitely be the number one option. I lost count of how many lipsticks I have, but hey, one can never have too many lipsticks! There’s always one colour that would be missing in the collection, right? My lipstick collection has been growing steadily and the latest additions are beautifully packaged Rosie for Autograph lipsticks.
I know I shouldn’t judge the book by its cover, however, the first thing that appeals to me is the look. If a product has fancy, shiny packaging then I’m all over it. Some were disappointing and some were win-win! How about Rosie for Autograph lipsticks? I’m happy to say that they are on the winning team!
Rosie for Autograph lipsticks formula is spot on! They are incredibly soft and creamy. It glides on so smoothly and gives even finish. They are enriched with Argan oil so they are really moisturising on the lips and nice to wear, The colour payoff is perfect! It has sating finish. It doesn’t look too glossy, more like semi-matte, which I really like.
I have three colours, which are Lady Rose, Camisole Blush and Dolly Baby. Lady Rose is a beautiful rose colour, not too nude or dark, perfectly in between! It kind of reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk. Pillow Talk is a little on the nude/brown side, however, if I showed both lipsticks to hubby, he would think they are the same colour. Camisole Blush is a pink nude which would compliment many skin tones as well as Dolly Baby which is a lovely rosy nude pink.

How long does it last? It all depends on what you do. If you don’t eat or drink then it would last for 5-6 hours. It gradually fades away in time and the good thing is it still leaves a beautiful wash of colour, nothing patchy. It fades away quicker if you involve drinking and eating, which is normal. I would say it would stay on for 3-4 hours, which is still pretty good.
I adore the packaging of these lipsticks! Not only they are rose gold but they also have the magnetic closure. You don’t need to worry whether you closed the cap well! Also, I find it satisfying to hear the click of the lid, am I weird? Rose engraving on the lipstick makes the lipstick look even prettier! It also has sweet, chocolate-like smell. If you’re into makeup with a nice smell, then you should definitely try this.
Rosie for Autograph lipstick is £14. It is reasonably priced for what you get. I am a fan of the lipsticks, not only they are creamy, pigmented and has good coverage, but also last a good time without getting patchy. Overall, I would recommend anyone to check out Rosie for Autograph collection at Marks & Spencer. The quality of the makeup and the price is good!
What would you choose if you only had to choose one makeup product? Have you tried anything from Rosie for Autograph makeup range? What is the one thing you want the lipstick to have? Which are your spring lipstick colours?
