Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil

Choosing the right haircare product is crucial. With one tiny wrong decision, your hair might end up looking dull and flat. What if you're given a product that doesn't exactly suit your hair's needs, would you still use it? Name can be appealing, like Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil... Who wouldn't want extra shine?
Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil is specially developed for taking care of the coloured hair, but it doesn't mean that you can't use it on uncoloured hair. It might actually give an extra boost, right? I feel like there are more specialised products for coloured hair than natural hair. Is there any hair treatment oil for oily hair which would give radiant shine? I haven't come across to any, if you know it, please let me know.
If you have oily hair, then you probably know the struggle with the hair treatment oils. They can be good for the hair, but at the end of the day, your hair will probably feel as heavy as your handbag. It's one of the reasons that I'm not really into hair treatment oils, there are only one or two that I could fully rely on. Since Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil (26 ml) is one of the M&S Advent calendar products, I thought I'd give it a try.

Let's start with the smell... It has a really lovely, sweet&floral scent which doesn't fade away straight away. When I'm going out, I like to spray perfume on my hair. At least when I use this oil, I know that the sell will be there, so I could skip that step.
It is a light weight oil. Even though, the consistency is somewhere in between light and heavy, once you use it, there's no greasy feeling. If you don't like that oily feeling on your hands, then this might be for you. You could use this oil as a pre-shampoo treatment, pre-styling moisture boost or as a finishing product for the glossy look. I prefer to use it as pre-styling moisture boost and finishing product. I prefer to use my other hair treatment products as a pre-shampoo treatment. If you want to use it as a pre-shampoo treatment, apply generous amount on your hair(avoid roots). Leave it for 10-15 minutes then carry on with your hair washing routine. You could use it on your damp hair before drying/styling it or you could just put a few drops on the end of your hair once you finished styling it.
You only need a few drops to get the shine boost. It makes the hair feel so soft and smooth, also you get the natural glow. One good thing is that it doesn't weigh down the hair. If you're struggling with thin, flat hair then you can rely on this, however, just make sure not to apply it to the roots, otherwise, it will be the opposite.
Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil is £12.50 for 48 ml. It gives shine boost to normal hair and I'm sure it would have the same effect on coloured hair. Even though it might look tiny, you don't really need much product to get that boost. This is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, so if you are looking for cruelty-free products then you should keep an eye on Josh Wood products.
What do you do to keep your hair shiny and healthy? What's your favourite hair treatment oil? Have you used Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil oil before?

I still swear by the Argan Oil by The Body Shop. Linda, Libra, Loca: Beauty, Baby and Backpacking
I should check it out!
I used to dye my hair a lot, and my natural hair is black...so I went back to it 8 years ago after a bad breakup. I haven't dyed it since. I remember there was a period of time when I was so so sick between 2011–2014 and I was losing hair, and it felt really thin and oily. Now it's almost back to its thick self but its still fine, and I'm looking for the perfect hair oil to give me back the softness. I have got to check this out! My natural hair is black and I got my hair dyed a lot, it was damaged a lot and also hair loss was another thing I had to deal with. I'm trying my best to keep my hair healthy, hopefully it won't get back to the old stage again.
Lovely photos, as always! I am such a proponent of hair oil - it's so wonderful. I'll have to give this a try! xx www.qustomquinns.com/blog

I am not a fan of hair oils in general as they tend to weigh down my thin, fine hair so I prefer leave in treatments in lotion form. I do like the packaging of this oil. Shireen | Reflection of Sanity
Having thin hair sucks!
I love hair oils because they help define my curls, so I think I would love this! Aleeha xXx http://www.halesaaw.com/
This is really good, I love the smell of it. I'm sure it would help to define the curls. x
This sounds like a nice little oil! I don't really use oil often my hair much but I do sometimes like putting something through the ends if they feel very dry! Danielle's Beauty Blog
I don't use oils too often as well as I have thin and oily hair, but for extra kick they come handy, especially after doing the hair.
It actually was through a sponsored post that I discovered my favorite hair care system, Agadir, so I'm all in for trying a new product when given, especially if it ticks off some of the most important boxes, you just may discover your new favorite brand! I can relate 100% with everything you've mentioned because I, too, have oily hair. We both have oil hair and skin. I know this may sound weird, but is there such a thing as just an oily head because that's what I feel I have, lol!!! Anyway, this oil sounds great for our hair types, I'll have to keep it in mind! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have the best week ahead! XO, Jalisa www.thestylecontour.com
Oily head... That's what I have too, lol :D I like the shine this oil gives, especially after getting my hair done :) I hope you're having a great week x
This sounds really lovely,I'll have to keep it in mind! I do like using hail oils at the ends of my hair because that's where it's the most dry and where I'm more prone to frizz. I'm not particular which one I use though, just as long as it doesn't weigh my hair down and it provides shine and moisture. Ann-Marie | http://facetocurls.com
I have oily hair but the end of my hair tends to get dry so oils come handy. I like this one because of the smell and also it doesn't weigh down my hair, which is great :) x
I love using good old coconut oil on my hair, once a month. Now that I cut my hair it's so much healthier. I'm also severely allergic to hair dye so I can no longer color my hair which means that it stays pretty healthy. I totally agree though that having oily hair means that it's hard to find a good oil treatment that doesn't weigh down your hair. This one sounds really lovely! Paula Thirteen Thoughts
After having hair cut, I could feel how healthy my hair got too. I haven't had my hair dyed for a long time, now I have pitch black hair :) I must say I'm so tempted to try something new but I don't want to damage my hair.
I love that GIF at the end!!! Also this advent calendar is adorable! I've actually never had an advent calendar before (I know, shocker). I'm actually a huge fan of the It's a 10 leave in conditioner - I credit that and the Macadamia hair mask for bringing my processed hair back to life a few years ago. I consistently use both, the It's a 10 every time I wash my hair and the Macadamia mask maybe once every 2 weeks. I just recently picked up a Ouai hair set and got the hair oil in it - I've only used it once but man does it smell incredible! My hair also smoothed down without feeling weighed down. I'll definitely need to do a full on review on it once I see how my hair fairs over the next few hours. Cindy | www.cindyhyue.com
It is my first beauty advent calendar and I am loving it :) I hope they will bring out something even better the next year :D I keep reading great things about Ouai, I wish they were a little bit on the cheaper side :)
Super cool blogpost. So creative with the GIF! X Merel www.andathousandwords.com
Thank you!
Can i just say your blog photos are beautiful! Loved reading this post, I suffer from greasy hair and can't go a day without washing! I also have coloured hair so feel this will work for me - also really enjoy the price tag! Jess xo | Jessica Ann ♥
Aww thank you so much :) I used to wash my hair all the time, but it is not good for the hair so I wash it every other day now. You should do the same and try to use lighter shampoo&conditioner.
I just love your photos. They are so beautiful and bright. The hair oil sounds great, but they all still weigh my hair down :/ Angie | Chocolate & Lipstick | Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Blog
