Take a little you time… Whenever you need it! how do you spend “you time”? I like spending me time by reading, enjoying a glass of wine and showing love and care to myself from head to toe… How about starting it with the head? Well, Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery might give you beautiful hair with minimum effort. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?
Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery is the second hair product of M&S Advent Calendar. The first product was Philip Kingsley Pomegranate & Cassis Elasticizer which I’ve been my favourite and now this overnight recovery. I haven’t tried many products from Percy & Reed. The first product I tried was Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm which I really liked and then Percy & Reed Percy & Reed Reassuringly Firm Session Hold Hair Spray.
Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery focuses on dull, limp, lacklustre hair and aims to transform it while you sleep. Natural protein ingredients help to boost the hair’s ability to retain moisture, while conditioning agents battle humidity, fight frizz and boost shine.
How to use it? Well as the name suggests, it is an overnight treatment. You just need to apply some on dry hair from root to tip then let it dry. Focus on the drier areas. It dries quickly! Once it dries, you could just go to bed and sleep. In the morning, just wash your hair with your regular shampoo. According to the instructions, you don’t need to use conditioner, however, if you have really dry ends then I would recommend you apply some. If you don’t have any hair issues, then just shampoo would be enough. It leaves such a beautiful scent which is subtle and sweet. I already have quite oily hair so I avoid applying it from the root. It gets my hair smooth.
Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery is £20 for 150 ml. Would I recommend it? Well, it depends what you are expecting from this overnight recovery. If you have really dry/damaged hair and want this product to make miracles, it will disappoint you. If you have split ends and you need a product to get your hair soft and less frizzy, then go for it. Will I repurchase it? No, at least not at the moment! I better spend it on Elasticizer.
