I learnt not to believe in the big claims of the companies. They know how to advertise to get the attention of the consumers. Sometimes I wonder how they actually come up with statistics like 97% agrees... Well getting that 97% out of 50 people shouldn't be that hard I guess. Now it is time to talk about the second nail polish from the M&S Advent calendar. Nails Inc Gel One Coat Nail Polish is better than Autograph All in One Nail Colour but is it that good?
Nails Inc Gel One Coat Nail Polish in Cranberry is a beautiful deep burgundy colour. It is the perfect seasonal colour. If you love berry/burgundy shades then you would love this one too. It has thick consistency as you might expect from a gel nail polish. I'd say the consistency is similar to Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polish, of course, Rimmel(£4.49) is way cheaper than this.
It's recommended to use either one thick coat or two thin coats to get the perfect finish. Due to the thick consistency, you should be careful with the amount you apply. If you aren't careful enough, then you will end up having streaky finish with one coat. With two coats, you don't get the streaky finish but then it doesn't have a high shine. Formula of Nails Inc Gel One Coat Nail Polish sounds promising. It's packed with Biotin which improves the nail strength. I wish everything else was that good too.
How long does Nails Inc Gel One Coat Nail Polish last? I don't have much experience with gel nail polishes but it even lasts shorter than some of my normal nail polishes. It wears off at the tips then it peels off easily. If you're doing housework regularly, then don't expect to last long. I heard that Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish is a good one and it is still cheaper than this one.
Nails Inc Gel One Coat Nail Polish is £13 for 10 ml. Does it worth the money? I don't think so... After paying that much, you'd expect it to be revolutionary as it promises. It doesn't give high shine and the wear time is not the best so I wouldn't waste my money on that.

This sounds like a hard polish to get right, as you said about the one coat being streaky then the other not being shiny! I love the fact that it has biotin in it though, that's a great factor! Charlotte // www.charlottespicks.com
I really don't like thick consistency, they are always really hard to work with.

Really appreciate your honest thoughts on this one, hun! The nail polish looks lovely and I adore the colour, although, the price is a little steep... I can't imagine paying this much for a nail polish unless it was really amazing! Nails Inc is a pretty good brand and I do have a few of their products, although they're not my favourite. Colour is pretty but it is not the best long lasting one.
I have to be honest, I hate spending more than a fiver on nail polishes - especially because as you say there are some excellent affordable alternatives that work just as well, if not better! I don't like spending too much on a nail polish. You'd find good ones in drugstore too so this was a disappointing one. x
