May Favourites 2016
One month is over and we are not far away from Summer. It is cliché to say, but time flies so fast, isn’t it? May was such a busy month for me, there were so many thing going on like a wedding, travelling a lot and then trying to get back to my blogging routine again. Now, May is over it is time to share some of my May favourites?

La Roche-Posay Serozinc Spray
I’ve been using this spray every day in May, it is really good at oil control. After spraying it to my face, a few minutes later my skin looks mattified. If you are dealing with oily/combination skin, then you can guess how happy I was to have a shine free face. I don’t know why I didn’t get it earlier.
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
This was a Paula from Thirteen Thoughts inspired purchase and I am happy that I finally got it after postponing for a long time. You only need a tiny amount of it, it is so rich and thick that it takes a while to absorb, but once it does your eye area will be well moisturised and so soft. If I am in hurry, I avoid using it except that it is on top of my daily skincare.
Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture Root Lift Spray
I used it a while ago when it was first released and I wonder why I stopped using it. If you have fine flat hair, then you know how hard it is to achieve volume without making your hair heavy after using so many products. This actually gives some volume, all you need to do it apply it on the roots then blow dry it. I use it after every hair wash, at least then my hair doesn't look that flat.
MAC Lipstick (Amplified Cream) in Chatterbox
I tend to stick to neutral eye makeup so one of the ways of adding colours to my makeup is the lipstick and I like wearing bright lipsticks in Spring&Summer. Chatterbox is kind of Barbie pink and I like wearing it with minimal makeup then the focus is on the lips. This is how I’ve been wearing it in May most of the time.
Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude
I don’t have many light bases and when I want something weightless than Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude is what I use most of the time. It is light and it works well on my oily skin without making it look greasy. Since I need light base products, Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint will have to be my next purchase!
Sally Hansen Smooth & Perfect in 07 Sea
There are many Nail Trends to try out this year, minty shade is definitely one of them. I have this nail polish for a few years now and the formula is still as good as new. It doesn’t only give a nice colour but also makes the nails stronger so it is a win win situation.
Favourite Moment
My favourite moment was my wedding on 7th of May 2016. You can have a look at some of my wedding decorations... Once in a while I still look at the photos and think how amazing that day was. There are so many photos and I can’t decide which one to get printed, it wouldn’t be right to get 1000 photos printed, right?

Mac only recently opened up in my town, so I am looking for great lipsticks to try from them. I'll definitely keep Chatterbox in mind, it sounds lovely :) My May wasn't super eventful but it was good. I finished school (but still have few exams to complete), went on a road trip with my friends, got time to relax and to study. I've heard such great things about the La Roche-Posay Spray though I have yet to find it here. I don't really have any favourites for May, but the month was wonderful nonetheless. That Maybelline foundation has been one of the stuff that I always pick up and then put back down. It is not really suitable for dry skins, formula is more like water so it only gives light coverage. When I have dry bits, I avoid using it.

I'd never heard about the Laroche-Posay spray! That's quite amazing, I'll be trying it out because I very much need an oily skin controler haha. Do you apply it before or after you makeup? Is it replacing powder? I apply it before the moisturiser and let it soak in for a few minutes then use the serum/cream whatever you're using. It is really good at oil control, you should give it a try :) x

It is watery foundation, if you have dry skin you should avoid using it.

I wish Dream Flawless foundation worked for me, I loved the texture,. But it just wasn't for be. It clinged onto my dry spot and was bit powdery on me. But I'm loving that Mac lip shade.
