It has been a long long time since I last wrote a blog. To be honest, after taking a long break it gets harder to write one. Don’t you think so? Some of you already know that I was on a long holiday, 1 week in Germany and almost 3 weeks in Turkey. On Saturday, we will be driving to Scotland, Loch Ness, for a week holiday with husband’s mum. It will be a long drive, to be more precise, like 7-9 hours drive! Anyway enough with the mumbling, let’s get to the real topic… L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Foam Wash – Glow Scrub.
Teenage Ela was a fan of scrubs, it was basically the only cleanser I was using every day. I wish I had known that using a harsh physical scrub every single day isn’t good for my skin. You learn from your mistakes, don’t you? In the winter time, I struggle with dehydrated skin as well as some dry flakes and physical scrub is one way of removing these nasty dry flakes. I like L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Glow Mask and when L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Foam Wash – Glow Scrub was released, I just grabbed it to give it a try.
Firstly, let’s start with the texture of the foam wash… It has a mousse like texture. It is way lighter and softer than the mask version. Due to the texture, it is so easy to make a big mess, so when I use it, I make sure that my hands are dry otherwise it gets all over the place. Think about red clay around your arms… It is not a pleasing view! I think mask has more micro-beads in it, therefore I find it more effective than the foam wash. Also even though, the name is “Foam Wash”, it doesn’t get foamy at all, I don’t know how they come up with that name.
I used way more effective scrub washes than this one, but I must say this is more gentle, however, it makes the skin smooth and flake free. In the end, you get what you pay for don’t you? If you are looking for a drugstore face wash, then you can add this to your list. It is only £3.99 for 150 ml and give a somewhat effective result.
Do you prefer physical or chemical scrub? Have you tried L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Foam Wash – Glow Scrub or any other product from this range?
Once I’m back, I’ll be more committed to the blogging and get back to my routine. When there’s so much going on and so many things planned, it gets impossible to get my head together. Sorry for my absence and looking forward to coming back to the blogging world as soon as possible!
