When I find a trusty product, I can’t stop repurchasing it! It also means I might be missing some reals gems out, however, I guess I am ok with it. I have my oils and eye creams which I can’t seem to change but I try something new once in a while to remember why I must always have the trusty ones in stock. I hope I am not alone with that. Now it might be the right time to talk about my go-to eye creams! Let’s talk eye cream…
Now when I look back, it has been over 3 years since I posted my first Let’s Talk post and now 3 years later, I’m here and writing another one. I might be a little boring I guess! Anyway, let’s not get distracted and get back to the topic, let’s talk eye cream… Eye creams that we can’t stop using!
Let’s Talk Eye Cream
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado has been in my routine for 3 years now and it will always be a part of my routine! As the name suggests, it is creamy, really rich and it is enriched with avocado! It is intensely moisturising and plumping. It makes the eye area look brighter and smoother. You only need a tiny bit to get great coverage and protection. Just tap it around the eye area and it i absorbed quickly. This cream is ideal for any skin type from sensitive to oily. If you have eczema or dry eyes, definitely give this a try! Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment is £26 for 14 ml.
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask
I’ve been a fan of the bouncy sleeping mask so when I say the bouncy eye mask, I had to give it a try. The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask is the opposite of Kiehl’s cream. This one is really light and leaves a really fresh feeling once applied. Bouncy Eye Mask is enriched with cucumber extract and plant stem cells. According to TBS, Youth Bouncy Eye Mask can be applied to instantly give tired eyes a power nap, or used as an overnight mask to wake up with skin that looks younger and feels healthier. Promising isn’t it? I can confirm that whenever I use it my eye area is well hydrated and looks fresher!
Bouncy Eye Mask also cools down the skin around your eyes by -1.5°C. It would be a great cream for the warmer days and I could actually confirm that it is! I have been using it since last August and I like that cooling feeling. I’m sure you could keep it in the fridge for extra coolness! can use it as a sleep mask, which I do, you will wake up with fresh looking skin. When it is really cold, I opt for Kiehl’s eye treatment, however, this bouncy mask will be a must-have of the warmer days. Bouncy Eye Mask is £18 for 20 ml. If you want to try something new, I would recommend this!
An Extra
I must also add one of my M&S Advent Calendar finds here which is Filorga Time-Filler Eyes Absolute Eye Correction Cream. I have used the 4 ml which was in the calendar and it is already added it to my wishlist. When you use it, the eye area feels well hydrated and smoother, also looks less puffy! It doesn’t irritate my eyes or gives any tight feeling. It would be more ideal for mature skin rather than the young, the 20s. You might want to pop in one of the M&S stores to test it! It is more expensive than the other two creams, however, sometimes it is worth to invest in a product that delivers!
I’m looking for some promising eye creams to add to my routine, can you recommend anything? Has anyone tried Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex or Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix? I am a fan of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair and really keen on trying one of those!
What’s your must-have eye cream? Which products would you have in your let’s talk eye cream post? Do you stick to a trusty one or life is too short to use the same product?
