I wish there was a product that you put on your face at night and wake up looking 5-10 years younger… Wouldn’t you want that? Beauty/skincare companies keep bringing up so many innovative products, but let’s be honest, none of them will stop the ageing. I’m a pro-prevention rather than cure so let’s start preventing all those nasty fine lines. Korres Wild Rose Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial is a new addition to my skincare routine… It is one product that I am not too sure about!
I don’t have much experience with Korres products, I only used a few shower gels and body lotions. So trying a skincare product was new for me and I didn’t know what to expect. Korres Wild Rose Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial is the 7th product of M&S Advent Calendar. 16ml might seem small, however, you only need a small amount so it would last for a few weeks.
KORRES Wild Rose Sleeping Facial is a natural leave-on mask which smells like roses. The mask contains with wild rose fruit extract, vitamin C, linoleic/linolenic acids and hyaluronic acid to encourage cell regeneration and reduce discolouration, fine lines and pigmentation. 95% of its content is natural. If you are a natural product lover, then worth checking it out.
I use it as the last step of my skincare routine after cleansing and applying the acids. Most of the time I use a sleeping cream/mask every other day, however, since it’s ideal for everyday use, I used it daily to test the product properly. This facial is rich in texture so you only need a little. The mask is absorbed quickly and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and smooth. I think it is more suitable for the dry to normal skins. I find it heavy on my oily/combination skin when I used it daily. My main problem was my T-zone got really oily overnight so I had to cleanse my skin in the mornings.
My opinion about the sleeping facial is neutral… There are things I like as well as the things I really dislike. Would I purchase it? Even though it is on the affordable side, I don’t think I would. I can tolerate the scented skincare products up to a certain point, however, this is too much and it takes a while to fade away. Also, the smell lingers on my hands as well. That’s the main reason I wouldn’t consider purchasing it. What do you think about heavily scented skincare products? For instance, Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate has a strong lavender scent, however, once you put it on your skin, it is gone.
Korres Wild Rose Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial is £26 for 40 ml. If you’re looking for a natural and affordable skin care product, you might want to give it a try.
