Isn’t it crazy that time is passing so fast? I still remember the New Year’s Eve like yesterday and now we are at the end of January. It feels like time passes quickly once you get older. When I was a kid, I was complaining about how slow time’s passing and now here we are, I am still complaining, but this time with the opposite. Since January is over, I’d like to share my January Favourites. January was kinda a lazy month for me. Because of the snowy and freezing weather, except going to work, I stayed home most of the time and I didn’t use so many new makeup products, so I am talking about a mix of everything from beauty to tech.
My January Favourites 2016
Dove Derma Spa Goodness3 Body Lotion
This body lotion was one of the most used products throughout January. It is really lightweight and my skin absorbs is quickly, so I don’t have to worry about it getting to my clothes. If you’d like to read more about this lotion please check out my post Dove Derma Spa Goodness3 Body Lotion.
Vaseline Lip Therapy
Winter is not only harsh to my skin, but also my lips. If I go out without applying lip balm, then my lips will be dry as Sahara and I will end up peeling my lips (I know it is horrible). I always carry Vaseline in my bag, it is one of the trusted products that I can rely on. It is one of the best lip products for winter.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
This is the second lip product in my January Favourites. It is my first and only product from NYX. I wasn’t sure how good the quality would be, but I am really impressed with it. It feels soft on the lips, and Ibiza is such a pretty shade. You can read more about it in my post NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.
theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer
It was in my wishlist for so long and finally I purchased it at the beginning of January and I’ve been using it since then. I am so pale at the moment (I don’t use fake tanning products after turning orange a few times), so this one gives me the colour I need and I use it for contouring too.
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
I wasn’t a fan of this eyeliner in summer as my eyelids get oily quickly, so it wasn’t really long lasting and it was smudging easily. I gave it an another try in winter and I am happy with the result. Felt tip liners are my favourite, this one kinda looks like Stila All Day Waterprood Liquid Eyeliner. It is easy to apply, and the colour is intense as well. You can check out my post Let’s Talk Eyeliner to find out more about it.
Rimmel London Salon Pro Nail Polish
It has been one of my most worn nail polishes since Autumn. I really don’t know how I will stop wearing Berry Nails. I have it in the shade of 403 Hypnotise, which is a pretty berry shade. Formula of this nail polish is great, and it doesn’t chip easily (at least for me).
Garnier Fructis Flexible Hold Volumising Hairspray
If you have a dead, straight and flat hair, then you will know how hard it is to style it and give it some volume. I am always on the hunt for a hairspray, which won’t smell bad and will give me that volumised look as well as holding my curls. This one is good at holding the style without making my hair hard, and it smells better than most of the hairsprays. What’s your favourite hairspray?
Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter
To end up my January Favourites, I want to talk about that little device. If you don’t have a flip screen camera and you don’t have your camera cable with you then you will know the struggle of taking photos of yourself or the photos of products depending on how you place your camera. This little device will connect to your smart device (phone, tablet etc) and you can see the image live on your device. Think that you’re outside and taking a group photo, and you don’t know if the camera is focused. Also, it is great for selfies and you can easily check your photos instantly on a bigger screen. If you have a Nikon too then you should check out this little device on Amazon.
These are the things I’ve been enjoying in January. Have you tried any of these products before? What do you have in your January Favourites?
