February is over (like 28 days aren’t enough, it was 29 days), which means we are getting closer to Spring and longer days instead of longer nights. Even though I love the cold days of Autumn, Winter is my least favourite season, so I am happy that it will be over soon. What’s your favourite season? A mixed February favourites is here…
February was so slow and boring until the last week, where my lovely fiancé surprised me on our 3rd year anniversary. It was such a shock seeing him. He should have been 2115 miles away from me, but instead he was standing in front of me after leaving work. Even though he visited me for only 4 days, it was still the best anniversary ever! So it is definitely my favourite bit of February!
These are my February Favourites 2016
Swarovski Duo Star Set
I received this Swarovski set as a birthday present and I’ve been wearing it a lot since then. It has been definitely most worn jewellery of February. I love how simple and pretty they look.
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush
I never bought a birthday present to myself before, but since I entered the big 3-0 this year I thought it was time to change that and I got MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Peachykeen. I will not talk in details as I already posted a review of it, but this blush is beautiful! It gives such a nice colour and glow to the skin, so even when I don’t feel 100%, it makes me look more alive. Do you buy yourself a birthday gift?
Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Eyeliner Pencil
In colder days, I don’t mind using pencil instead of my regular eyeliner. Also, trying to get your eyeliner perfect at 6 am in the morning is really hard, I end up spending at least 5 minutes to get it look “ok”. When I have limited time to get ready, I’ve been using this pencil to tightline and even apply it as an eyeliner. It is pigmented and it doesn’t smudge easily. Also, no sharpening is required, which is great!
IASO Ghassoul Black Cleansing Oil
Cleansing oils are my favourites in Autumn/Winter. I know they will be gentle to my skin and give enough moisture to keep it healthy. I’ve been using IASO Ghassoul Black Cleansing Oil quite a lot and it cleans my makeup properly (no panda eyes next day, I mean it!) without wiping of the natural oils of my skin.
Fast Dry Top Coat
I don’t know why I haven’t tried fast dry top coat before. Everyone is talking how good and effective they are and I was using traditional ways of drying my nail polish (waiting/blowing or just using cold water). I’ve been using it since I got it, it saves me so much time. How do you dry your nail polish?
The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter
I haven’t had that bad dry skin before. If I go a day without applying some sort of moisturiser or lotion, then my skin gets so dry. I’ve finished a few lotions and Moringa Body Butter from The Body Shop has been the most effective one. It makes everything so soft and even if I don’t reapply it, my skin doesn’t get bad. If you struggle with dry skin and don’t mind having long lasting scented product then I’d highly recommend it.
This is the end of my February Favourites. What have you been enjoying lately? Do you have any plans for March?
