As the season changes, makeup routine changes too. But how about these transition period where it doesn’t quite feel like winter and also nothing like spring? Isn’t it the best time to lean towards nude makeup? Fresh looking almost makeup free look. Also, not to forget that nude makeup is one of the trends this year!
Bold lips are perfect for autumn/winter, but when the sun is shining outside, it might be the perfect time to change some bits of the makeup menu, don’t you think so? Leaning towards peaches and pinks for natural effortless look. Nude makeup is all about minimal eye makeup with peachy/pinky cheeks and lips.

A flawless base is a must when it comes to nude makeup, then the attention can be on the face. In order to achieve flawless skin, good skincare routine is important, you can’t expect everything from makeup, right? To cover up the blemishes and any skin issues, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is my go-to concealer. Once everything is covered, MAC Prolong Wear foundation won’t only give high coverage with flawless finish, but also it will stay on the skin without getting oily for many hours. It is a win win situation! After the base, it is time to give some colour to cheeks with Smashbox Crush On Blush Palette. Suntan for contouring and Guava for achieving peachy kissed cheeks, this combination looks so natural!
Who doesn’t like well groomed brows! Soap&Glory Archery is my favourite when it comes to natural looking full brows. When I want something for the eyes, brown/nude eyeshadows like Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick in Golden Chocolate is what I reach to. It will blend into something neutral without looking too much. To finish of the eye makeup, Rimmel London Super Curler Mascara will give these soft curled lashes. Lastly, #45 rose nude lipstick from Rimmel London Kate Nude Collection is a pretty choice, just make sure that your lips aren’t dry or patchy otherwise this lipstick will be the worst choice.
This is how I’ve been doing my nude makeup lately, it is simple yet a great transition makeup. How’s your transition makeup? Do you like wearing nude makeup or do you prefer going for colours?
P.s. Doesn’t Olivia Palermo look beautiful with her nude makeup?
