ColourPop Haul First Impressions

Who doesn't like a good quality and affordable makeup products... ColourPop ticks all these boxes when it comes to affordable and good quality products. They have pretty extensive colour range and products. When there are so many positive things about ColourPop, it's time to have the first ColourPop haul!
After seeing ColourPop products everywhere online, I know I wanted to try them but, all this shipping hassle put me off so I didn't try any products until a while ago. I wonder why I waited that long, though, better late than never, right? I got one of every product that I had my eyes on, the hardest bit was deciding on a colour! Their colour selection is pretty good which doesn't make it easier. I don't like ordering makeup products online, I always make the wrong decision. Luckily, this time it wasn't like that. I only have 4 products on my first ColourPop haul. I am sure it won't be the last one...
ColourPop Haul
ColourPop Ultra Metallic Lip in Kween
I kept saying I wouldn't ever try metallic lips, they are just not my cup of tea, but then I ended up changing my mind. Kween is a burnt red with gold sparkles in a metallic finish, it is a gorgeous autumnal colour. It looks sheer with one application, if you want rich metallic finish then you might need to apply two or three coats. It lasts for a few hours, which is not bad. The formula doesn't dry down completely and it doesn't feel uncomfortable on the lips, it is really lightweight. If you want transfer-proof lip product then this might be disappointing for you.
Metallic lip product is not something I would wear every day, however, for a night out or when I want something different, it is something I'd reach to. I've been wearing metallic eyes&lips duo a lot lately!
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Frick N' Frack
Have you got into 90's brown lips vibe yet? If you're in that 90's trends then you should check out Frick N' Frack! Frick N' Frack is a muted, dark rosy plum with warm undertones. The formula is a little bit heavier than Ultra metallic one, but still on the lightweight side. I am sure this colour would look good on all skin tones. Colour payoff is really impressive, with one swipe you get the right amount of colour on your lips. It is opaque and it doesn't dry down completely so there will be some transfer when you eat or drink something. It is not transfer-proof as well, however, it is still long lasting. Brown/berry lips and minimal makeup is my go-to makeup when I'm in a rush, this one gives enough colour to brighten up the makeup.
ColourPop Matte Lippie Stix in Lumière
Lumière is described as a dusty mauve pink in a matte finish. This colour is almost close to MAC Twig, however, Twig is a little bit on the brown side whereas Lumière is more on the pink side. Lumière also looks similar to MAC Brave, it is a lot darker than Brave. It has a creamy formula and the colour payoff is good. It is not the most long lasting lipstick, a few hours is still ok for a lip product. Even though it is really opaque, I wouldn't call it matte, but semi-matte. It is not drying and it feels comfortable to wear. Other two lip products don't have any scent, however, this one has a light vanilla scent which is fine.
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Stereo
Stereo is kind of a burgundy/berry shade with some brown undertones and gold/pink shimmers. This colour is perfect for autumn makeup. The texture is so soft and doesn't feel chalky. You won't get much pigmentation with one swipe, however, it is easy to build up. For more wearable look you can use it sheer and it will still look good. Stereo is one of these colours that any skin tone can rock. One of the things I'm impressed is the staying power, it lasts over 5-6 hours on my oily lids so it is pretty good. When there are shimmers in an eyeshadow, you would expect there to be fallouts, luckily there's almost no fallout with this eyeshadow.

This brings me to the end of my ColourPop haul. I am pretty impressed by the quality of these products. If you haven't tried any ColourPop products, you shouldn't wait long. Most of the ColourPop products are vegan so if you're vegan and only want to use vegan products then you should definitely check them out!
What are the products would you recommend from ColourPop?

I really want to try some Ultra Satin Liquid Lipsticks, the shade Frick N' Frack is lovely! As you know I love the Lippie stix as well yet I would also highly recommend their bronzers, the shade selection isn't great but their formula is absolutely gorgeous! http://fannyanddailybeauty.com
I wanted to keep my order fairly small just to test the products and don't pay custom charges, however, ended up paying £12 for £17 order (with shipping)... I wish I had ordered everything I wanted! Ultra satin lipstick is extremely pigmented, I only need a little to get the perfect colour.
Lumiere is a really gorgeous shade. I've been putting off buying Colourpop makeup just because I already own so many lip products I don't easily reach for. But everytime I see a review I am tempted to buy them. So hard.. so hard to not shop :D
I waited for so long and kept postponing it, however, ended up placing an order when they had free international shipping :)
I love colourpop so much, I've made two orders in the past and already want to make another one. I have only ever purchased lip products and I have to say, they are pretty amazing for the price. I have Frick n Frack too but don't wear it often enough, I might just have to whip it out tomorrow haha. Have a lovely day :) tipscapsule.blogspot.com
Frick N' Frack is gorgeous for this time of year, I am sure it really suits you :) Have a great week, beauty!
I have so many CP products, I am obsessed. I love the Ultra Satin lip products and also the Matte X Lippie Stix. Lumiere is beautiful!
So many people rave about Colour Pop & I love the look of Lumiere and Stereo. The thing that puts me off ordering from them is the risk of customs charges - I hate paying them! xx Beautylymin
Custom charges are annoying. I kept my order small to avoid custom charges and my order was £17 with shipping cost but then ended up paying £12 custom charge. I wish I had ordered everything I wanted to try. x
The four ColourPop products you got are gorgeous! Which website did you order from? :) Stereo is a really pretty shade, and the staying power is indeed quite good, and it must work great as an all-over shade on the lid! Julia x www.juliaspeaksbeauty.blogspot.fr
ColourPop had a free international shipping for over $50 and $4.99 fixed shipping for below $50, so I ordered directly from their website :) x
I love Colourpop so much! I totally wish they would have their own physical store or be in Ulta/Sephora already! xo McKenzie | therosynook.com
That would be amazing, maybe they end up opening one soon as they are getting really popular! x
I'm desperate to get my hands on Colourpop! I wish it was more readily available in the UK! www.ohsobecky.com

After hearing so many people talk about Colour Pop, I'm desperate to give them a go although I can't find the best way to get a delivery without losing out on custom charges! Your post definitely makes me want to try them out though, such gorgeous colours! Musings & More
At least now they ship internationally. When they have free international shipping, it is best to place an order. Custom charges are annoying. My order was £17 with $4.99 shipping included and I had to pay £12 custom fee... It is just waste of money!
Colorpop is everywhere! The eyshadow pigments are supposed to be great so you're definitely chosen a good ones... I'd love to try out red/umber colours! I'm not sure I'd ever buy CP given shipping fees though T__T Cherie | sinonym
I placed my order when they had free (over $50) or $4.99 (below $50 orders) shipping. I hate that big shipping costs, plus paying extra custom charges make i even worse!
Gorgeous colours! Never heard of Colourpop before, sounds like a great brand! xx moorizZLA
ColourPop is a good brand, definitely check them out! x
I like ColourPop, they seem to be having a big moment in the blogosphere lately! With some brands that aren't international, shipping does put me off too, which is why I either wait until I am going to purchase a good amount or give my sister money to have her send me a parcel of goods. :) The colours look really lovely. Often times I will wait for holiday time to buy loads of merchandise becuase it's usually free p&p or close to free. x/Madison FASHION TALES
Now they started shipping internationally(I don't know which countries tho). It is best to wait when they have free international shipping, otherwise it is just waste of money to pay so much shipping fee! x
Stereo looks lovely, I love the hint of metallic in it! And lovely to hear that it's easy to build with as well as the lasting quality! Lovely post gorgeous! Xx www.thefashionfolks.com
Thank you so much :) x
These are all so lovely looking! I love that "keen" color! :) https://trend-mixblog.com
Kween is gorgeous :)
This has definitely made me want to try Colorpop. I'm not hugely into the 90s brown lip but frick and frack does look gorgeous. Stereo is so pretty too! Elle www.theellenextdoor.com xx
It is not classing 90s brown, I am sure it would suit you :) x
I can't believe I haven't tried anything from ColorPop yet! I was so happy when I heard that they started shipping to the UK. Then I must have got caught up with life and completely forgot to order anything haha. Kween looks so gorgeous! A metallic lip is something that frightens me too, but your swatch looks absolutely stunning. Lumière looks like the perfect shade for me. As well, I love creamy lipsticks in the colder months. My lips like to get super dry, so I need all the comfort I can get! Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful products Ela. I'm going to get on the website and make an order tomorrow!:D xx - www.veebzboo.com - www.youtube.com/veebzboo
They had free international shipping, that's when I ordered them. I don't like paying so much on shipping so I will wait until they have free/low fair shipping again :) ColourPop products are good, you should really try them out :) Have a great week, gorgeous! x
Lumiere is definitely my kind of shade. The fact that it doesn't feel drying on the lips is a major plus sign! I really need to try some Colorpop I always say I'm going to but never bring myself to it! Charlotte // www.charlottespicks.com
You should try them out! It took me so long to place an order and I am happy that I finally did...
Lovely colors, I like the lumiere shade a lot. Sounds like nice products. I heard about colorpop before, but never tried it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Ela :) xo Sauniya | Find Your Bliss ♡
ColourPop products are really good, I'd highly recommend them :)
So keen to try Colourpop! Lumiere looks beautiful and Frick and Frack, would be keen to see what the two combined look like together actually. Laura xx www.shehearts.net
Never thought about combining these two... Thanks for the suggestion, next time I know which lipsticks to mix :) x
Frick N Frack is one one my favourites - I love the Ultra Satin formula too (my favourite liquid lipsticks!) :) Jasmine xx Jasmine Talks Beauty
Formula is really good, it is so comfortable to wear :) x
I've never tried any of their products but I'm switching to an all cruelty-free collection of makeup so I'll have to give colourpop a try! Naomi in Wonderland
You should check them out, quality is really good!
This is so good to hear Ela. I haven't tried Colourpop yet, but I've seen some excellent reviews and swatches. So I will have to change that. Their price point is excellent except for the International shipping. But they seem to recognize that and are making adjustments. They just need to be permanent. http://www.averysweetblog.com/
After seeing so many great reviews about them, I had to give them a try and I am so happy to say that it is definitely worth the hype :) I hope they will have a fixed low international rate, I'm sure it will increase their sales figure.
