August Favourites 2015

August Favourites 2015

Another month is over and we are only a few months away from a new year. It is crazy, can't we just slow down the time and enjoy the summer more...? Let's talk about my August favourites...

My August Favourites 2015

First let's dig into skin care products. This is also an old favourite of mine. When I don't feel like putting much makeup on, but want my skin to look good, then I use L’Oréal Paris Skin Perfection Day Moisturiser. My skin feels silky soft and it gives me radiant glow. It has silica in it, so if you don't like the products with silica (silicon dioxide) in it, then you wouldn't like this one. For a clean face before going to bed, I can say my favourite is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It cleaned my makeup/skin well and my skin was so soft afterwards, what else can I ask for!

For makeup I only have two products. This month I mostly went for a natural look. Max Factor Cream Puff Blush in the shade of 15 Seductive Pink is so pretty and it gives really nice pinkie colour to my cheeks. I can wear it with or without foundation and it would still look nice. One of my August Favourites is Soap&Glory One Heck of a Blot. You can read more about this product in my post Let's Talk Powder. I've used it a lot when I felt my skin was acting up and I needed to stop the shine. It really helped it.

Being a student for so long taught me to look for budget, but good products. You'd be surprised what you might find for really affordable prices. This is one of the items I came across so long ago that I keep buying it from time to time. It is a body scrub Treacle Moon, not only I really like the scents of their body products (I love strawberries and anything smells like strawberries), but also how soft it makes my skin. It leaves my skin really moisturised and scent stays for a while too. As far as I like Lush, Body Shop and Soap&Glory, this is one of the products that I like using especially when I have a limited budget.

My last August Favourite is Essence Effect Nail Polish. In August I kept adding some glitters to my nail polish routine and this one has such pretty glitters and tiny sparkling pieces. When I applied it on my nail polish it just looked so pretty.

These are my August Favourites... Have you used any of these products, if so what are your thoughts about it?

I love the micellar water, use it daily, I have the green one at the moment, but not really noticing much difference from the pink, but either way they are good :) Been looking at the maybelline puff blushes for so long, every time I go into the boots I swatch it! Should maybe just buy it already! :) Love the post! Http://www.makeerinover.blogspot.com

What is silica exactly, and why do some people not like it? Love the packaging though for this L'Oreal product - quite impressed, it looks very high end. Rae | Love from Berlin

I am always tempted by this product every time I am going to the supermarket, especially because it sounds like a good, affordable product, would you say it is more a moisturizer or a beautifier? https://fannyanddailybeauty.wordpress.com
