Can we blame the Kardashians for the contouring craze or you were actually into contouring before it? To be honest, I wasn’t really aware of it until the photos of contouring went viral on the internet. This is how I met with contouring. Can theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer give you that defined cheek bones when you do contouring?

theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer Review

I wanted to try theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer for a while after watching plenty of Lily Pebble’s videos. All these YouTube videos and blog world make me want to use all the things I see there and theBalm Bahama Mama was one of them.

TheBalm Bahama Mama is a cool toned brown matte bronzer with greyish undertone, which is a perfect contouring powder and looks really natural on the skin. It is not highly pigmented, so you can easily build it up as intense as you wish. It is really easy to work with and it feels soft and silky on the skin.  I don’t really like highly pigmented blushes and bronzers, because I find them really hard to work with and if you have heavy hands then the result might not be good. You don’t need to worry about it getting patchy and also it won’t get cakey, which is actually really great. This will give you the natural defined cheek bones that you desire. Besides using it as a contouring powder, I also use it as a transition shade on the eyes and it works perfectly. If you like warm toned bronzers, then it might not be a perfect colour for you. However, I believe it would look beautiful on every skin tone.

Like other theBalm products, theBalm Bahama Mama has a cute illustration on the cardboard packaging. Even though it is light and easy to carry around, I am not a fan of cardboard packaging. I prefer Lou Manizer’s solid packaging better. It has a decent size mirror, which comes really handy.

I’ve been using it a lot since I got it and I’m sure it will be one of the most used bronzers for a while since I am trying to learn how to contour properly with powder.

Are you into contouring? What’s your favourite contouring product? Is there any tip you could give for beginners? Have you tried theBalm Bahama Mama bronzer?
